“Dinosaurs in Motion” Exhibit

“Dinosaurs in Motion” is a new exhibit at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham featuring fully-interactive and life-size metal dinosaur sculptures that teach principles of kinetics, biomechanics, and robotics. Visitors can control the dinosaurs by using lever and pulley systems and remote controls. This blend of science, art, and innovation is appropriate for visitors of all ages. Endangered Animal Art Show

Artist Russ Ronat is showing his latest artwork, Project Holocene, in the Birmingham Zoo’s Predator Building. This is a series of mixed media drawings of endangered and vulnerable animals. These large drawings bring attention to the rising issues of deforestation, illegal wildlife trade and the other threats that these species face.
